  7. Laurie! I am so glad that things are looking up!! I even looked up pulmonary embolism because I didn't know what it was! It looks scary and I can feel your pain at seeing a loved one sick. My DF is my protector and seeing him sick like that would be terrifying. (((hugs))) and we are all here for you!
  8. The chicken meatballs sound SO YUMMY!! I always want to take pictures of my yummy looking OP food too!! But don't want to be the weirdo always posting pictures of my food on here, LOL! This event must have taken lots of preparation and pre-planning so congrats on not caving and serving (and eating) the usual Pigs-In-A-Blanket (probably 5 points each!)

  10. My demon is always throwing around the word "fair". I feel like, "it's not FAIR that so-and-so gets to eat that." "It's not fair that I can't eat like that without gaining weight." "It's not fair that I am not naturally a size 1." I constantly have to remind myself that LIFE isn't fair and EVERYONE has their own demons to deal with, I am not the only one.

  12. Applebees has the contract with WW to serve the Pointed food, but I'm not in LOVE with it, but everyone is different. I DO however love the Applebees WW Onion Soup - YUMMMMYYYYYYYYYY

  15. I think you are going to have fun!! Funny story, in a SUPER out of shape time in my life (kinda like now...blah) I decided to go to a Spin Class. When I got there, there were literally 4 other students and you can tell there was a "bond" with the women cause they were all cliquish and probably went together all the time, so it was a big deal there was one random student who decided to sit in the front (me). The class was SO intense that about 1/3 of the way in, I had to leave.. I just couldn't take it. I tried to casually get up and walk out, but tripped on the way out and my glasses flew off and skidded across the ground and I left behind my water bottle and towel! HAHA I *KNOW* they *HAD* to be talking about me after I left, the girl who couldn't hang!
  16. I bought a pound of imitation crab meat and then realized I had no idea what to do with it! I found a recipe online, changed a bit of the seasoning and measurements, and added some mushrooms. DF totally snarfed it!!! Crab Casserole 1 lb crab meat (I used imitation) 5 cups cooked pasta 2 cans cream of mushroom soup 1.5 cups of frozen peas 1 can of mushrooms ½ tsp garlic salt ½ tsp onion powder Dash of pepper 1¼ cup of non fat milk ½ cup of breadcrumbs, 10 or so sprays of ICBIN Butter spray mixed in 1 tsp Evoo Cook pasta w/ tsp oil and pinch of salt Drain and rinse and pour into greased baking dish Set aside In same pot mix crab meat, soup, peas, mushrooms, salt, onion power, garlic salt, pepper and milk, cook on medium-high for about 15 minutes or until peas are cooked through Pour this mixture over pasta in the baking dish Sprinkle the buttered bread crumbs on top Bake on 350 for 20 minutes Enjoy Personally I ran the ingredient through the recipe calculator and came up with: 6 servings – 8 points a serving *don't mind the ugly foil - it's a super old baking pan hehe
  17. Yesterday I found 100 Calorie Litehouse Caramel in the Fruit/Veggie section. It's separated into 6 little containers and is Reduced Sugar and 7 grams of Fiber per serving, making it only 1 point per container!! I used it this morning to dip my apple in and it was SOOOOOO good! It tasted like I should have been guilty for indulging in it! Each container has a decent amount, I still had a little bit left over after dipping a cut up 8oz apple in it!

If you choose milk or yogurt that is not fat-free, or cheese that is not low-fat, the fat in the product counts as part of the discretionary calorie allowance. If sweetened milk products are chosen (flavored milk, yogurt, drinkable yogurt, desserts), the added sugars also count as part of the discretionary calorie allowance.
