  1. I'll have to try the Dr. Praeger veggie burgers!
  2. I started weight watchers again last week and I remembered that at my old meetings I used to go to that so many people bought things at Sams that our local grocery store didn't carry. A lot of the items were from the frozen food section and could be cooked easily and fast. I wish I could remember some of the things they raved about. I know there was a stuffed chicken breast that everyone loved and it was really points friendly. I'll take my trusty ww calculator and go in search for some new items that are low in points! Thanks for your replies!
  3. What are some of your favorite food items that you buy from Sams or Costco that are point friendly? I usually go to our regular local grocery store but someone mentioned a couple of things to me that sound good that I can only find at Sams or Costco. I thought I might be able to get some good ideas from all of you of some new things to try!
  4. I packed a big batch of this into our cooler to take to the beach and it was wonderful! I made my own dressing using red wine vinegar and splenda. I also added some cilantro. Yummy! Thanks for posting this!! 2 cucumbers- peeled, seeded and chopped 3 stalks of celery- chopped 1/2 large sweet onion- chopped 1/2 red bell pepper- chopped 1/2 green bell pepper- chopped 1 can of black beans- drained and rinsed 1 can of corn chopped up cilantro - use amount that suits your taste 1 cup (or less depending on your taste) of red wine vinegar 3/4 cup of splenda salt and pepper to season
  5. Maybe cut down on your ice cubes. I use ice from my ice maker and they are kinda skinny. If you use ice from ice trays I wouldn't use as much.
  6. Yum, Yum and Double Yum!!! This recipe is great! I used ff sf chocolate pudding mix and I didn't add the optional 3 tbsp of water. Whenever I start craving chocolate this is what I'm going to make. Thanks for the recipe!
  7. I finally found it in the Complete Food Companion book. I was looking at the back of the Getting Started book. Thanks anyway!
  8. Hi! I'm hoping someone can help me figure this out. I cooked a pot roast in the crock pot and I'm trying to figure out what a serving size would be and how many points it would be per serving. Anyone have any ideas? I looked through my book but I didn't find any info about beef roast. Thanks!
  9. Hi everyone. I ate lunch at Priddy Boys today and had a tomato basil tortilla wrap with ham, swiss, and something called miller mustard. I can figure out the points for everything except the miller mustard. I've never heard of it before but it's delicious. Anyone know how many points it might be? Thanks in advance!
  10. Great advice! Thanks ladies.
  11. I guess a salad is always a safe choice.
  12. Hi everyone! My husband and I are going out of town tonight and we are eating dinner at Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville. I've never been there before and I have no idea what I should order. Here is their menu. What do you think would be a healthy choice? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! http://www.margaritavillemyrtlebeach.com/MENU.htm
