  1. I agree with you about fresh Brussel Sprouts being so different from frozen. I had only had frozen until a couple of years ago. BOY, had I been missing out. Of course I used to steam them and then toss them with tons of butter, garlic, and parmesan cheese. I'm not sure how I'll fix them now that I am on WW. I can probably just eat them plain. It's been amazing how many vegetable I like simply boiled or steamed with some salt and pepper. I wish I would have tried this years ago.
  2. Hello all. I have been on WW for 7 months and have lost almost 40 pounds. The last 6 weeks or so I have been really struggling/failing with the result of gaining about 4 pounds back. Since I am not willing to give up, I decided to try the SF plan. I have been on it for about 4 days. When I went to my weight in yesterday, I had lost 2.4 pounds. That is very good considering my past 6 weeks. Anyway, the biggest question I have is....are there any fast food type choices out there? I cook a lot and take my lunches, but occasionally get caught out of town without anything good to eat. Most of these times, I don't have time to go to a 'sit-down' restaurant. I had my stand-bys with the Flex program, like McDonalds salads with grilled chicken, etc, but none of those are on the list. I know I have those 35 points to use, but I typically use about 5 a day to add a little bread, crackers, or other ingredients in my diet to make it work for me. What do you guys have in a pinch? Thanks.

  8. I'm doing really well today. I think I have really discovered something important during my lapse. I have terrible cravings sometimes especially in the afternoon from about 3:00 to 7:00. I used to think that it was a lack of will power, but I think I have discovered that certain foods (refined carbs) really cause those cravings. Right before I fell off the wagon, I ate several things that were made from white flour and counted the points. The next afternoon I had strong cravings that I hadn't had in over 7 weeks. I being really careful about those foods now. Back to vegetables, lean meat, and whole grains for me! I think I'll write a post about this in the next couple of days. I wonder if other people have noticed a correlation.

  10. Thanks for checking on me. After 7 perfect weeks OP, I fell off the wagon a bit. I didn't gain anything last week, but I didn't even count points all week. I'm not really happy about the behavior, but as of today I am back on track. It means a lot that you messaged me. Thanks!!

  12. Hey Mike, I was just wondering if you have ever had any problems with the Wii Fit? I am still too heavy for one, but my I promised myself I would buy one when I got to 330. Do you have any advice? Do you think it will work for me being right on the weight limit? Thanks

  15. Ok, I have seen the issue of points for chicken danced around, but I still can't figure out how many points to count for rotisserie chicken (breast only with the skin removed). I sure would appreciate help here. My family eats alot of these and I usually just use the 1pt/1oz formula. I just want to make sure I'm doing the right thing. Thanks!!
