  1. Thank you. This was a question for a friend. I never had success with WW personally. But tons of success reversing diabetes with LCHF/Keto. I was thinking the points thing and high fat were like putting a round peg in square hole. Thanks!
  2. I am not new here, but have been away for many years. So, just curious, if you can do low carb high fat on the new Weight Watchers program. Is that doable or even possible? I have done LCHF to reduce my diabetes and was curious about the new WW program and incorporating it into this WOE that I have adopted. Please forgive me if this is not allowed. Mickee

  4. Thank you. I have never attended meetings just followed along on here and at home. But have not been doing anything for a very long time. So wondered what had changed, but if you say nothing, then that is good, I think.
  5. I just got an email and it appears there is a yet another new program. Is this correct??? WW is what my doctor advocates, but has never really worked for me. So just wanted to see what was going on with the new program and maybe it is something I could live with and might work for me too. Advice??? Suggestions???
  6. Is there a new plan out since 2012? I keep getting emails about something new and just curious. I have not used WW in a while. It worked o.k for me for a while, but not now. Just curious about any new improvements.
  7. Soda - I have not been here this last week, but will greatly miss your posts and conversations. Please come back and pop in to say Hi every once in a while and let us know how you are doing. I would be very interested in a program that is similar but different to SFT. I am still struggling and losing the same 2 pounds over and over again. Need to get more serious than I have been.   8. Kimberley - Please do feel better. I wasn't aware of all your allergies. That must be the pits. I have driven by our Great Wolf Lodge but it is quite expensive and that is why we have not stayed there. As DD is 18 some of the thrill may be gone if it is geared toward the young group. Sheri - We have spent years, literally, getting through drivers Ed and finally got a permit then had to renew the permit. I just can't get her to drive. She totally hates it. So it will be a great milestone if she passes the test. She was 18 in January. Soda - Glad you are doing well and I know you can count points and make it work. As far as me, I had a kinda crummy day. Too much running here and there and never got to eat a decent meal and still working as I could never get home to get started. So I am about to scream and pull my hair out at the same time.

We have a Great Wolf Lodge about 20 miles from us and I would like to go sometime just to see how nice it is. Soda - Sorry your 49 WPA are gone but you can make it a power week. Just kinda enjoying the evening. Not having much work this week as it is spring break. Gonna take DD to take her driving test on Friday so have to get the car cleaned up before then. Everyday has been so busy. No time to rest.

  15. I am here again, have food for the day and don't see a problem staying OP today. Very excited, that the farm where I get my produce and dairy have just received new beef products so ordered more than I should have and they will arrive tomorrow. Now to make room in the freezer for them. Yeah!!! No hormones, or grains, just good grass fed beef. Now back to work, the task master is calling my name.

  17. I do not have a food plan as usual, except for staying on track. If I could find the bottom of my crock pot I would do something in there but have the top and the lid but not the electric portion. UGH!!! I am going to try to cook some fresh green beans and taters and eat some left over turkey and meatloaf sometime. Eat plenty of fruits and veggies as the fridge is stocked with them and not let them waste. I will post on the menu thread daily. Of course now we are in love with confetti salad so that will be here a couple of days this week too.

  19. Soda - Just called DD in to ask what you were talking about with the PS. I know about a blue tooth for my phone but that is about the extent of my knowledge. So she explained it to me. It can be scary on the internet talking to strangers that is for sure, especially with kids, but keep in mind we here on BCB were all strangers at one point too, if that makes you feel any better. My weight went down last week but not to a loss, after that gain trying to take that collagen. So am looking for this week to have a loss, I don't care how much, but a loss of any size will make me happy.

  21. Well - didn't eat enough yesterday but had a good day, just didn't feel well and wasn't hungry. I got up back to normal. Made Hungry girl banana bread (muffins) and ate 2 with a glass of milk and then went back for a 3rd. DD ate them, didn't complain but could tell they were splenda muffins. Trying to use up the splenda and move on to Truvia, but still have a bit. The day is starting off good. Just trying to finish up work today to have a free day tomorrow. DD is on spring break and would like to do something fun instead of work, work, work. But without having to cart her here and there should have a little more time to devote to work and stay on top of it this week, maybe even actually step in a gym. Oh My!!!! The time change never bothers me, I don't like it, but as I work from home whenever I get up I go to work and whenever I get finished I go to bed, so no real terrible change for me. Back to work I go.

I am exhausted and have done nothing much besides sit here and type or proof read and did take DD to try to learn to parallel park, fun, fun. She wants to test for her license and I don't think she is quite ready. She is the one I am shopping for a car for. The one we were going to look at did not work out, so back to the drawing board, again.

  24. Michelle - Sorry I missed your post. We must have posted at the same time. Glad you talked to your boss and things will get better. Sheri - glad you have a relaxing weekend. I am working or trying to get caught up. Hired a new lady, reduced the workload of another lady that really needs to be fired, but being the softie I am I didn't fire her. Maybe will later if the new one works out as planned. Also looking for DD a car. We are looking for a 1996-1997 Honda Accord and have one we are going to see tomorrow that claims to have 103,000 original miles. I hate looking, so hoping this one passes the test and we can bring it home.
