  1. Hello! :-) If your pedometer is one that displays how many calories you burned by the end of your walking day, give yourself 1 activity point for every 100 calories burned. Here is some info that copied that I think you will find very helpful: "There is also an Activity Points component where you can eat more points as a reward for exercising. (based on your weight, activity level, and amount of time exercising). Light activity points = wt x min x .000232 Moderate activity points = wt. x min. x .000327 High activity points = wt x min. x .0008077 Or, if you know the amount of calories burned (for instance, from the display on a piece of excersize equipment), add an activity point for every 100 calories." I hope this has been helpful.
  2. I wish you the very best as you begin your journey! Just take it the only way you can, which is one day at a time. You will be successful. Tell yourself that every day.

  8. Thank you everyone! I tell you what, the before pictures are a true motivation to stay the course that is for sure. I have said before, I knew I needed to lose the weight or else I would not have joined Weight Watchers. However, I just did not see myself the way I really looked. It makes my heart sink to look at the picture from the morning I joined WW'ers. I never want to go back there again. Congratulations to all of you for all you have accomplished through your own weight loss journeys. It isn't easy. So, be good to yourselves! You deserve it!
  9. Hi again all! I promised pictures, so here is the link that will take you to them! My Picture Thread I will catch all of you wonderful people on another day! Have a great weekend!
  10. Hello Everybody! I hope all of you are having a happy Saturday. I made goal back in December and when I posted my news, I promised I would post some pictures soon. Then, I made lifetime in early February with yet another promise that I would post some pictures. Well, I finally have pictures and I am posting them proudly!! I apologize for the poor quality of the before pics, they were taken with a regular camera and then scanned. They compare nothing to the quality of digital which are what my after pics were taken with. Okay, the first picture on the left was taken the morning I joined Weight Watchers, January 13, 2007. I weighed in at 170.6 All of my after pictures, taken within the last three days, are me at my current weight of 136. This next picture on the left was me the day I made my 10% goal. The date was April 14, 2007. I weighed in at 153.4, leaving me 18.4 lbs to go!! I will close out with this last picture of myself which was taken bright and early this morning. Thank you all so much for allowing me to share my journey with you.
