Sports : love to kayak Hobbies : Hockey, hockey, hockey! More like an obsession than a hobby! All hockey from peewees to NHL, but my heart is with the AHL. Love traveling am trying to visit all 30 major league baseball parks, we've gone to 17 so far as of 6/07. Did I mention Hockey! WW history : Have been going on & off since 1974, have had several sucesses but never quite made it to goal, close once though.   9. Welcome Amanda, I love Portland and go as often as I can. Glad you found BCB, the support and motivation here is amazing. As far as gyms go there are usually people there that atleast show you the machines and how to use them, but if you don't like the gym you probably won't go and it would be a waste time and money. I love to walk and that is what I usually do. Lately I have been using the gym at my work and have been learing to enjoy that also. Don't forget that there are many videos/dvd's available that are very good and work well. Congrats on joining Weight Watchers and on your loss so far!
