  1. How do we change our stat's on this new website?

  2. Jason, went to log on tonight and my heart sank as I thought you shut the sight down; I'm glad that's not the case and very excited to see what you will be doing. I'll have to get our little group back on here, some of the ladies have died, others have gotten sickly or we've moved on because it ended up being only two of us.. however, 3 of us stay in contact.. maybe we could get the Christian group up and running again?
  3. Sometimes I lurk in hiding until I get re-motivated, I don't feel like sharing because I'm not doing well mentally and emotionally.. and not up to posting and don't like my friends seeing me read without posting to them as I really do care about them, but I'm just not up to commenting to anyone. It take the pressure off ... though frankly I don't care one way or the other today.
  4. Laura, how are you doing?

  5. Thanks Brenda, I'd gotten to wondering if she had abandoned us. (lol!) Do you know where they were going [if it was Esther, I'd be picturing a cruise ship]. I know Esther and her were talking about not letting people know dates they would be gone, but I'm so slow, I didn't put two and two together. I love going on mini trips but since gaining so much weight and being a shut in the past two years, I've not gotten to go to any of our favorite vacation spots. I'm hoping and praying God blesses us with a few good ones this summer...

    Well, guess I should be in bed ... hope your sleeping good. *!*!{hugs}}

  6. Pretty amazing; I had to share it with my husband, the fact that you've kept it off is wonderful and very encouraging!!!
  7. Ok, don't think I posted this right the first time [it went to mine]LOL!

    Hey, I'm doing great ... hubby is fine too ... truthfully, I've been doing Sparkspeople just to try shaking things up a bit. Calorie counting ...who would have ever thought I'd try that? How are you doing? I do sneak in once in a while and read up on everyone ... I miss the group but I get so caught up with posting that my day is shot & nothing gets done by the time I'm done writing everyone ...LOL

    On the new site I only track what DH & I eat & maybe read an article or two but I don't feel like I'm living on the computer all the time ... how are you doing? My weight is still down from when I lost on BCB but I'm going slower this plan, [so] I've only lost 11 pounds ... I set the goal for 2010 [duh]; so, I don't get hungry & give up [like before]. My total loss is 35 lbs which is sad having lost 60 last year ...grrrr But, how are you doing???? I sure appreciate you writing, I truly feel that I have made some good friends on BCB ... hope people never leave so I can always come back! (...boy, doesn't that sound double standard?...LOL) Take Care, Lynn

  8. Hey Lynn, where have you been??? Sure hope you and dh are doing great.

    Fill me in ok. hugs

  9. My husband found this recipe and it is so good I wanted to share it here: Sweet Potato Fries [only we use Yams]... I don't like the other! 2 pounds sweet potatoes [or yams] 1 tablespoon canola oil [we use canola spray] 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice [we mix our own spices using the Libby pumpkin recipe] 1 tablespoon low-sodium chili seasoning Salt and pepper Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line baking sheet with aluminum foil; set aside. Use peeler to peel sweet potatoes. Cut potatoes in half lengthwise then cut into 1/2-inch thick fries. Place sweet potato fries in a large mixing bowl. Add oil and spices. Toss until they are thoroughly coated with spices. Spread fries in a single layer on prepared baking sheet. Place in preheated oven. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes turning once to ensure even cooking. Remove from oven and serve hot. or link to:http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/recipes/recipe/0,1977,FOOD_9936_50904,00.html
