  1. I hear what you're all saying but when I've been exercising and staying OP and gaining my leader says I'm eating too many carbs that's why I question what I've been eating.
  2. I am on a quest to do away with carbs in my diet since it's my downfall but I need to be clear as to what is a carb? I know that bread and pasta are carbs but are potatoes a veggie or a carb? What about beans like lentils (I love lentil soup from Progresso!) If anyone could help me I'd really appreciate it! Also have carbs been hindering your weight loss? And what did you do about it? Thanks!!!

  5. I love this out and didn't have the marsala on hand and just replaced the wine with more chicken stock and it was just as good!!
  6. I'm shocked to see in the getting started book that spaghetti w/tomato sauce and 2 meatballs is 16 pts! I made homemade sauce using garlic, onion, green pepper, mushrooms, canned tomato sauce and canned diced tomatoes, spices and 1/2lb of ground sirloin. No oil or fats of any kind. Even if I count the meat as 3pts, 1 c spaghetti, 4pts and just the tomato sauce as zero that's only 7pts!!! Can some one clear up my confusion on this? Thanks!
  7. Yeah, I thought it was because it was on for 10 hrs but it was so cool how it just fell off the bones!!! Remarkable!!! I'll take your suggestion and make it overnight and mine crock comes out too and I'll just put it in the fridg and heat it up when I get home! Thanks everybody!!
  8. I have a small one too and I went to make the whole chicken with the foil balls in it and had to literally stuff the chicken in!!! It came out great tho!!! The meat fell off the bones. Perfect for ones or twos!!!
  9. I made the whole chicken in my crockpot today and it was really dry. Was it because I had to leave it on for 10 hrs (work hrs )??? Any suggestions of what I could do to make it less dry or something to put on it instead of ....yuk....gravy...lol?? Thanks!

  11. Can anyone help with the pts for a homemade bean soup? I made it with the following ingredients: leftover ham - about a pound veggies like onions, carrots, celery northern beans -dried and cooked (the first time I didn't use canned!!) and some spices like bay leaves and oregano It sounds pretty harmless:) but will someone please let me know It made a ton!!!!   13. Hi! I am looking for a recipe called Breakfast the Night Before. From what I can remember it has LF Jimmy Dean sausage, FF cheese, egg beaters and cream of mushroom soup but I can't remember where I saw it! Does anyone have it? Thanks so much! Jan:exercise:
