  1. Sorry Greta I just saw this. WWlynn is right, the pasta is not precooked. Hope you like it!
  2. I finally made this and it was sooooo good! I put a spoonful of fat free sour cream on it and it made it even better!! Definitely a keeper!!
  3. Thanks for quick responses wwlynn and brandeeeee! It's still hard for me to get that I don't have to count points for something that sounds sooooo good! I have to get a few things at the store so after I make this I'll report back how it was.
  4. I'm pretty new to simply filling. I've done flex for several years and decided I needed to change things up. So far I'm loving simply filling!! I've had this recipe for a while now. I'm trying to tweak it to make it simply filling. Have I succeeded? Homemade Chili Cheese Hamburger Helper: 1 pound 93% ground beef or turkey 1 cup hot water 2 cups skim milk 1 1/2 cups whole wheat macaroni 1 tablespoon corn starch 1 tablespoon chili powder 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon sugar 1/2 teaspoon paprika 1 cup fat free cheddar cheese, shredded Brown ground beef in a large skillet; drain. Add hot water, milk, pasta and your premixed seasoning. (corn starch, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, sugar, and paprika). Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 12 minutes, stirring occasionally. After it's done add cheese, stir and cover for a few minutes.
  5. Thanks for the GREAT idea!! Since I read about your "secret weapon" I've been adding extra water to my oatmeal and grits. It really makes it look like a lot more food. Now I'm going to have to try adding PB2 to it!!
  6. Congratulations on your weight loss and for giving blood!!
  7. Thanks Nancy! The gazelle says I have burned 484 calories, went 4 miles in 44 minutes. I've been using the points booster to figure the activity points just like you mentioned positioning the minutes of activity between moderate and high. I just wasn't sure if that was okay/following the intended rules. I'm really struggling right now, in fact not losing anything at all or gaining for the last few weeks and I thought perhaps I was giving myself too much credit for exercising. I've also added callanetics to my exercise program and I'm wondering if I'm figuring those ap's right too. 50 minutes low intensity = 2 points? UGH!! It's a little frustrating when you think you're doing the right thing but aren't really sure. Thanks for your help!! Staciamarie- My gazelle has a little computer on it that tells how much time you've been on it, how many miles you've gone, how many calories you've burned, and your speed. Right now I go a mile in 11 minutes but when I started out I was going a mile in 15 minutes so I don't think there's an easy answer to your question. I think it all depends on how fast you go. I wish I could be more help. Hopefully someone else will be able to answer your question better than I could. I love working out on my gazelle too!
  8. For those of you who gazelle how do you figure your points? Do you trust the calories burned on the gazelle? I guess I really don't, it seems too high. I gazelle 4+ miles a day at least 5 days a week. I've been giving myself 3 points but that may be too high, what do you think? Thanks for any help you can give me on this.
  9. LOL!! I love it!! Just the few times I've been out of town and my dh took care of the kids and house by himself he says there's NO WAY he'd want to trade me jobs! I wouldn't want his job either though so it works out perfectly for us!
  10. The cost is what has kept me from ordering it. I read several reviews online and of course they are mixed. Thanks for your review!!
  11. I just saw the infomercial for this. I'm curious if anyone has it and if you like it. It looks like something that may get me motivated to exercise more. I'm getting bored with my gazelle and dvd's. Thanks!!
  12. Thanks for the heads up! I will be looking for this on my next shopping trip.
  13. Thanks!! I didn't even think of looking in wikipedia! I'm going to try the WW ones for a while and enjoy the extra point I've got now.
  14. Great job!! You should be so proud of yourself - 10% is an awesome accomplishment!!
  15. Does the premade store bought WW smoothie have all the benefits of the DanActive Immunity smoothie? I've tried comparing them in the store but all I can see on the WW Smoothie box is live and active cultures and the DanActive is probiotic. I've been drinking the DanActive but would love to switch to the WW if it has the same benefits. DanActive = 2 pts. for 3.3 ounces WW = 1 pt. for 7 ounces. Thanks!
