  1. I've been eating this for years. I use the cinnamon, splenda, apple pie spice, and vanilla flavoring. I also make mine in the oven. It takes a little longer but the whole house smells like apple pie! And if you add a dollop of FF cool whip, it tastes like apple pie too. Yum!

  3. There have been lots of good suggestions already. I would just add- include 0 pt veggies w/ every meal. Like cut up veggies and add to egg beaters. Have sauteed peppers, onions, mushrooms, carrots on sandwiches. Put raw carrots in soup to give a crunch. Have a huge salad. I eat so many veggies during the day,that true hunger is usually not an issue. Also, look at what you are eating and the volume of it. If you could choose b/n a few chips or a bag full of popcorn for the same pts, go for the volume. Use your pts wisely to get the most bang for the buck! You can do it! You are on the right track. Hang in there!
  4. Welcome Raquel-Cruise around this site until you find a home base-Buddy board, where you can establish relationships w/ other BCBers. Post often so we can get to know you. There is so much wisdom, encouragement, support, and good swift kicks when you need them (trust me, we ALL need them now and again), that will help you be successful. Just think, pretty soon your dear sweet brother will be looking at you and saying how awesome you look!

    Mackey, Congratulations!!!! What a wonderful accomplishment! Don't you feel like you can do anything now? I made LT in May and just started working for WW. I'm actually still in training to become a receptionist and hope to go to Leadership training in August. They are VERY flexible. I am a homeschooling mother and cannot do more than 1 or 2 meetings right now and they are fine with that. I do want to work full time for them one day though. It is so rewarding to be able to give back some of the wonderful encouragement that I received. Best wishes to you!

  7. I have lost 75 pds and just noticed this week a decrease in my back fat. But it's still there and the area around my bra has not gone down at all. Of course I had back fat even when I wasn't heavy so I think it's part of my genetics. My mom has it. I may have to have lipo to get rid of it. I think it just depends on your own individual body type. The good news is that it won't get any WORSE from losing weight!
  8. I posted this on my home board too so some of you may have read this already. I had a major NSV last night! As long as I've been on WW, whenever I gain I use my NWI pass. I love going to my meetings but I just couldn't stand the thought of someone else knowing the amount I had gained. I've always done this at TOM. But for some reason this month I gained last week and did not go back down this week like I normally do. I started to panic about whether I should use NWI pass for 2nd week in a row and then I thought about it. "I finally love myself-warts and all. I like who I am-all of me-including those pds that creep on b/c of TOM or whatever. I have nothing to be ashamed of! I'm 100% op and exercising so what am I afraid of?" I realized my fear was that someone would THINK that I was off plan b/c of what scale says. And then it dawned on me "That's their problem-not mine!" OMG I feel like a butterfly that has been set free! I'm not afraid of the scale anymore! As long as I'm doing my part, the scale will do it's part eventually! Life is good!

  10. I just bought the DVD on Friday and did the low intensity this morning! Awesome! I love the show and I really thought the low intensity would be too easy for me! Boy was I wrong! I will never talk junk about Bob being soft again. I hope they make this a series. To the person who asked about your knees: I would think you could do it and modify. Bob says over and over, that you do what you are capable of doing and not to overdo it! I can't wait to do the sculpt section tomorrow. I never would have guessed year ago that I would get excited about exercise but I love it! I especially love getting something new so I won't get bored!
