  1. Hey ladies! I have always been a Core(well, SiFi) lurker. You all inspire me so much and I started today. I always had excuses of why NOT to do it, but realized that there was no excuse to NOT try it. I do have one question. I do know that we have 35WPAs a week for non core items, which I use for reduced fat dressings and reduced fat cheese, but what about Activity points? Do we use those at all? I earn about 28 a week going to the gym 4 days a week right now. I just wanted to know exactly what to do with the APs and if I should even be tracking them anymore or if I should even eat them if I do get to use them. Thanks so much in advance!
  2. Have you tried checking Craigslist? I was able to find alot of things on that and you could also check ebay like you said. But from what I see, its not available anymore. It is a great system though! HTH
  3. Thanks Lynn. I planned on skipping the flour in the recipe and using all oats too!! I think I will put it in the crockpot so the smell can fill the entire house. Maybe I can get DH to eat some since he loves apple pie so much! Thanks again!

  5. I was browsing recipes last night and came across a Core recipe that I wanted to make today and now I can't find it anywhere. I tried the search and I don't think I have the name right so I hope someone can help. Its a crockpot apple bread pudding..its core. I know the ingredients include flour,but people were saying you can just substitute more oats and use splenda for the sugar the recipe calls for. Even though it said crockpot, many reported making it in the oven as well. I read all the reviews, but I just don't have the correct name for search and I just can't seem to find it. Please helps!!!   7. I just had these and they are pretty good. I still like the Core Oatmeal pancakes from this site, but these are quick and use less ingredients. I did use sf syrup and and I added vanilla to the batter. I am glad I did because I don't know that they would have been as tasty without it. Thanks for the recipe!

  10. Carol, thanks so much for this. I am getting my mom to send me a copy of this book. She bought a ton of them one year when she found them at the Dollar Tree. I have done WW since I had dd and she is 3. I have lost 70lbs twice, once after dd and then once again after I had ds in '07. I have slipped into some kind of funk lately, but I don't like where I am heading. I am restarting tomorrow and restarting with Core because I need to get rid of cravings. Flex is my plan of choice but I use them each differently at different times during my journey! My question is, how long do we work on Step one? Thanks so much for these steps. It is definitely what I need!!
