  1. I have these every morning for breakfast on Core. They are so satisfying that they hold me from 6:30 AM till about 1:30-2 PM. I use 1/2 cup oatmeal and I do blend everything. Makes it more like a pancake batter. I also add 1/2 cup of frozen wild blueberries, YUM!
  2. Made this today but haven't tried it yet. I added a small pkg. of SF lemon jello to the ricotta topping. It seems to have added a yummy flavor (I tasted a little from the bowl) and it seems to have firmed up. Will let you all know what I think after I try it tonight. I also didn't have any oatbran so I took a container of the WW Apple Oatmeal and ground it up instead. Thought it would go well with the applesauce. Thanks for the recipe.
  3. Made this, this past week. It was really good. In fact, I've been having it for lunch during the week. The only thing I would do the next time is add some seasoning to the cornmeal. Maybe some garlic and chili powder. I'd have to experiment.
  4. How many pts. in the cake? I've used the SF angel food cake that I get in Wal-Mart. It's only got 2 pts. in 1/5th of the cake. That would bring the pts down I would think. Sounds wonderful.
  5. I made this cake as a birthday cake for my son. I baked it in 2 8" round cake pans. Bake a little longer than it says on the box since it is extremely moist. When cool take them out of pans and top one layer with SF cherry pie filling. Put other layer on top and then I frosted it with light cool whip and topped with some more pie filling in the middle of top layer. It was scrumptious. Next time I'll try making it with Diet Cherry Coke. I figure it was 4 pts per serving based on 12 servings.
  6. Does anyone have an old recipe for WW Goulash? I believe it had ground beef and bean sprouts. However, I'm not sure. Someone else asked me for it and I said I would post it to see if anyone out there had one. Thanks, Elyse in VA
  7. I really like the Cranberry. I order the 4oz. for 3pts. each. I like to cut them in half and toast them. Then I put a 1/2 Tbs. of PB on each half for breakfast. Makes a very filling 5 pt. breakfast. If you eat 2-2oz. muffins they are 3 pts. not 2 pts. because of the fiber.
  8. They're still sending the e-mails. There was one sent that expired on 1/27 and there's another one now that expires on 1/31. This one is only for the special Vita Hearts that they're making for Valentines Day. I didn't realize it and tried to order them using the password and they said I couldn't use the discount on what I was ordering. It's too bad because it was 10% off. Usually it's only 5% off. You do have to register at their website to receive these.
  9. The "Like it" is the smallest serving size. I always get it with Strawberries and Bananas mixed in. It's heaven and filling and only 4 pts. (I add an extra for the fruit but if you only have the strawberries it would be 3). I always have a reaction to anything with Malitol in it, however the ingred. in the Cold Stone never has bothered me. Unfortunately, one of our Cold Stones is no longer making the sinless and the one that we usually go to is not making it for the winter. I sure hope they go back to making it in the Spring. I look forward to our Sat. night dessert.

    I've been buying the VitaMuffins for awhile now. I really enjoy them. The 4oz are only 3 pts. If I have one for breakfast, I cut it in half and toast it. Then I top each half with 1/2 tbs. PB. What a filling breakfast for 5 pts. Just placed another order. Can't wait till they get here. They are having a special now. If you type in playitoff in the coupon window you'll get 5% off. They also have some of their packages on special. The 5% is only good till tomorrow.
  11. I really enjoy the snack cakes. I like the choc. better than the carrot cake. I just find that 2 of them with a cup of flavored coffee makes a real nice mid afternoon treat. I do find that they satisfy my sweet tooth and don't make me crave more. Guess it depends on the person. Haven't been able to find the breads here. We've been getting Nature's Grain Lite English Muffins at Super Wal-mart. They're only 1 point and really good. But all of a sudden we can't get them anymore and no one could tell me why. It's very disappointing.
  12. Wow! These sound better than No Pudge. Especially since they're made with Splenda since I'm diabetic. Thanks for the heads up. I'll have to look for them on my weekly shopping trip to Super Wal-Mart.
  13. We used to do the Alba thing with crushed pineapple and its juice. Then we would spread it out on foil like a candy bar and freeze it. That was a really great treat, especially in the days when you couldn't have anything you wanted, like a real chocolate bar.
  14. Finally tried these and think they are great. It's nice not to have to portion out a snack.
  15. My DH and I shared a Lt. Caramel Frap the other day. It's my first frap of any kind because they have always been so pointy. We shared a tall (only 2.5 pts.) It was delicious and oh so filling.
  16. Just found a new product from Nabisco. They are 100 calorie packs The come in several different flavors. The 2 that I bought are Oreo Thin Crisps and Chips Ahoy Thin Crisps. They are 2 points per bag. I haven't tried them yet, but they sure look good. You can see them for yourselves at http://www.NabiscoWorld.com/100CaloriePacks.   19. How would you compare these to the WW Cookie & Cream Bars? I love these, especially the cookie crumb coating on the outside. From the picture on the Skinny Cow box it doesn't appear that they have any coating. Elyse
  20. I haven't tried them. They sure look good, but the shipping is outrageous if you just want to try their snack bag. Let us know if you try them.
  21. Just tried this for the first time today. It is really great! I like it because it's sweetened with Splenda and it's not real sweet. The best part is that it's 0 pts.
  22. I have recently found both the Thomas' and the Western Bagel. If you're used to real bagels (like the NY type) these are not wonderful. The do think the key is to toast them very well. I guess if you think of them as 1 or 2 point breads rather than a bagel, then they're not bad. 1.50 is cheap. The Thomas' is 2.69 here and the Western is 3.49 for 5. Kind of steep.
  23. This was unbelievable! I couldn't find my copy of this recipe so I came online anticipating a lot of searching and there it was. Must be meant to be that I make these tonight. The last time I made them I didn't have any applebutter so I tried applesauce and they came out just as good. thanks for the bump! Elyse

    Just read on the product review board about Pizza Hut's new Pizza. It's called Fit n ? Can't remember the name. You can go to www.yum.com.   25. I love the Moose tracks. Those pieces of fudge and the peanut butter cups are great. I also just bought some Vitalicious chocolate muffin tops (1 point). I heated it in the microwave and topped it with 1/2 cup moose tracks. Yum, was that ever delicious!
