  1. I like Pepperidge Farm Soft Light Wheat Bread. It's only 1 pt. for 2 slices. It's not as gritty as some of the wheat breads. Even my kids like it!
  2. Thank you everyone! Nic Nac- No...it didn't take me 3 months lol...it's been 4 years since I've joined WW. I lost almost 50...then stopped going to WW. I gained back almost 20. Now, I've lost the 20 that I gained...and more! I still have a ways to go...but I'll get there! Slow and steady wins the race!
  3. 50 lbs. down! I started my WW journey 4 years ago this month. I lost 47.8 lbs, then gained some back. I rejoined on 1/28/10 and I have finally reached that 50 mark! Now...goal doesn't seem so far away! Me at my starting weight (sorry if the pics are huge). Today 4/21/10
  4. Hi girls Well...I'm proud to say that today is 41 days of being smoke free!! I feel so much better. Now, I can smell EVERYTHING!! I better have a great loss next week...I'm kicking my exercise up! I need to make up for that gain the previous week. I did 1 1/2 hours on the treadmill yesterday (for 30 min. 3x). Today I did 30 min. on the treadmill, the 30 Day Shred and then another 30 min. on the treadmill. My endurance has gotten so much better. I really think it's because I'm not smoking. I wish I never started...but at least God gave me the strength to quit! Anyways...not too much else is up. I'm waiting for DSS to come home from his school dance. I'll talk to you girls tomorrow!   5. Hello Ladies Well...I had my WI today and I'm up 1.4. I expected 2 lbs, so it wasn't as bad as I thought. I'm proud of the fact that I knew I gained weight and I sucked it up and still went to my meeting. Normally, I would have skipped my meeting. I'm back on track! The weekend threw me off. (Actually...I probably was up 2 lbs, but luckily yesterday was a day of fasting...so it helped me in the long run.) Anyways...I've already done 30 min. on the treadmill. I'm hoping to get in a workout DVD today also. I'll talk to you girls later. Sorry no personals right now. I'll get to them later! Have a great day!
  6. Hello ladies! Just checking in real quickly. I've got dinner in the oven. I'm still completely 100%OP! Not much else is going on here. I guess we might be getting a snow storm on Wed. (so the kids will probably have the day off). They have Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon, and Tue off. So I'm not sure how much I'll be on. Kim- I agree....I'm so ready for spring! It can't get here soon enough! Melissa- I hope you're feeling better! I had a similar stomach bug on Fri, but I think my food was bad. Everyone in my family ordered pizza and I ordered a small ham grinder. Well...I was SO sick! Both ends (sorry TMI). It was awful. I thought I was going to die lol! I felt better around Sat. afternoon. Quinny- I don't like being snowed in. It's not like I'd go anywhere anyways lol. I guess it's just the thought of not being able to leave when I want. Ok...I have to run. TTYL!
  7. Hi girls Just quickly checking in. My family stopped by and brought an ice cream cake for my b-day this evening. I took 1 bite of my DH's cake. I really don't care for ice cream cake...so it wasn't a big deal to pass it up. Now...If it were cake AND ice cream...that would have had a totally different ending lol!! Anyways...I'm watching the race with my DH. I don't know if I'll have time to pop in tomorrow. Have a great weekend!
  8. Hi girls. Just popping on for a quick min. I'm watching Grey's Anatomy! I did my kickboxing workout and did 30 min. on the treadmill. I alternated 2 min. of walking/1 min. of running! Boy...my calves were screamin' lol. I'm sure I'll feel it tomorrow. I did well eating today too. I opted for my diced canteloupe instead of my bowl of cereal tonight! That's a big change for me! I hope more people check in! I miss you!!! Good night!
  9. Good Morning Ladies! I'm so excited!! I lost exactly 5 lbs this past week!! I worked hard for it! I'm getting close to being back in ONEDERLAND again! I'm super motivated right now. I have to learn to keep this motivation!! I'm proud that I was able to quit smoking AND lose weight!! It can be done!!! Anyways...I have to do a few things before I pick up my DS from school.   10. Hi girls Just checking in quickly. I’m missing my DH. He’s been in Maine since early Monday morning. He’ll be back tomorrow. I’ve been 100% OP all week. My WI is tomorrow. I’m hoping for a decent loss. TOM just finished (thank goodness!). So, nothing should affect my WI. I’m not ready to start the C25K yet. I book marked the site for future reference. Diane- You’re doing so awesome with the C25K!! Keep up the good work! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! (It’s my b-day today too! ) I hope you enjoyed your day! Megan- Glad you checked in. I know how stressful and scary trying to find a place to live can be. Hang in there. You know that we’re here for you. Kim- Great job working out (even though you didn’t want to) yesterday! I was amazed with how well the people did at home on TBL too! Quinny- Aww…that stinks that you don’t have the monthly pass in your area. Yes…I’m still a non-smoker!! This afternoon, I felt pretty energetic, so I did another 30 min. on the treadmill. I'm feeling great! (I bet I won't be saying that tomorrow lol.) Anyways...I thought I'd check in.   12. Happy Monday! It's another freezing morning here in CT. I can't wait for Spring! I just sent 2 of the 3 kiddos off to school. DS doesn't have pre-K on Monday. So...it's just the two of us today. We get FitTV now and I recorded a few workouts. One is a Cardio kickboxing and Tai Chi. It's 30 min. I think I'll try that one out today. I need to change my workouts so I don't get bored. I'm thinking about starting the C25K too. Is there some kind of chart or something that goes along with it? Just curious. I don't know much about it. Any extra info would be welcomed! Anyways, I'm feeling quite rested this morning. I actually didn't hit the snooze button this morning for the first time in my life (I think) lol! I'll bbl. Have a great day everyone!!! Kim- I can't believe Jan. is over either. It flew by!   13. Hi girls! Well…it’s already Sunday! Wow…this weekend went by fast. TOM is here for me. I hope it’s gone by Thurs. WI. Ugh. I don’t feel like doing much of anything today. I didn’t exercise yesterday or today. I got my 3 days of it last week (Wed, Thurs, and Fri). So, I met my goal for the week (and I still have 3 more days to go of my WW week). I’ve been 100% OP! Like I said before…knowing I have to WI at the meeting makes me think twice about what I put in my mouth lol. I’m one of those people that has to go to meetings. That’s all there is to it. Quinny- Be happy you lost 1.4. :bcb_upAt least the scale wasn’t up. I’ve never tried yoga either. Let me know how you like it. I hope your internet connection gets fixed soon! Oh…and my DS is feeling better. He still has a stuffy nose, but he’s been sleeping through the night thank goodness! How is your DD feeling? Diane- .6 is good! :bcb_upGood job with the exercising last week! My not smoking is going great! Today is day 22 of my quit! I don’t know why…but this time quitting seems to be so much easier! Maybe I was just really ready. I don’t know…but I’ll take it. I do get cravings, but I try to think of other things and keep myself busy. I’m almost finished with my crossword book lol.   14. Hello again I'm getting ready to go to bed. My DS is sick. I hope he sleeps through the night. He has a bad cough and I think he has a sore throat. He's a little raspy. He can't tell me what hurts, which is hard. I have to guess what's wrong. Anyways...I did day 2 of the 30 Day Shred and 30 min. on the treadmill. I had a great OP eating day too!   15. TGIF!!!!! It has been one LONG week (or so it seems). I just got home from running errands. I went crazy on fresh produce! They had a great sale on grapes! It’s funny how the store down the road charges $1.00 more per lb. than the store that’s about a ½ mile further down the road. I don’t get it! Anyways…I have to say it is funny how actually going to the meetings (and weighing in) makes you think twice about your food choices. It definitely helped with my evening binging. Last night I ended up popping a piece of gum in my mouth and drinking water lol. Oh well… I’m getting ready to do a workout. I’ll bbl. Have a great day everyone! Quinny- Yes…the monthly pass includes the etools. I bought the monthly pass to make me go to the meetings. No excuses that I don’t have the $$ lol. I’m glad your ankle is feeling better.
