  1. This is a fun way to express, just read all these great quotes, will try to join in when I am not so sleepy, thanks Peg! for adding this, enjoyed it so much.
  2. I like the brightness, but don't care for the orange, hurts my eyes a little, maybe a turquoise would still brighten, but would be softer on the eyes, and will blend with the purple, just my opinion, everything else is great, thanks everyone for making the style and fonts better too
  3. had not seen or noticed the report spam icon, but I do now, thanks, it was beginning to be a problem, and I don't want to leave this board!
  4. Will we have access to all the forums here as members?....I often read some of the other threads and have found great info. I think if I understand right, we should be able to do this, it would just be blocked for non members, right?, making it ours and not public. Norma......privacy is always good. I just wanted to make sure I understand this right.
  5. Hi Norma,

Arlene said she and Peg won't fit in queen size bed. So they can take the 2 twins or the master bedroom. U and Carla decide, ok? I'll take the queen size bedroom.

  6. Arlene, the total for the week was $1425, I think. I don't have that written down

Joan did the math and I have that written down. For 5 the price would be $285.00, for 6 $238.00

This is at the Island towers on the 10th floor, unit 1003. So, if your DH doesn't come, you can

still room with Peg, is that right?...that would give us 5 for sure, great rate for a week. There wasn't

enough who committed for us to secure a second condo, so the motel is still a good deal too, especially

if the nightly rate is split with two. All that separates them is a wooden fence and some grass.

  7. I just recently discovered while visiting a friend in Indy and I loved them. I went by a grocery near her and bought about 8 packages in case I couldn't find them at home. I have not been able to find them, but my cousin told me she found them here at Pulbix and Walmart. I have been toasting them with PB & J sandwiches when I spurge and eat PB. They are the greatest. 8. No one would ever guess that this banana bread is low in calories and has no fat. It's wonderful. 2/3 cup Splenda 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce 1/2 cup reddi egg 1 cup mashed bananas 1/4 cup water 1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon baking powder Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray one 9x5x3 inch loaf pan with a non-stick cooking spray. In a medium bowl, beat the Splenda and applesauce until smooth and creamy. Beat in the reddi egg, water and bananas with the Splenda mixture until it is well blended. Mix in the flour, baking soda, salt and baking powder just until the mixture is moistened. Be sure to scrape the sides of the bowl to blend all ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees F for about 60 minutes. Bread is done when the top is firm to the touch and a golden brown color. Time will vary according to loaf size and oven type. When bread is removed from oven, allow it to cool on it's side for 10 minutes, then remove from pan and let cool on a rack. This bread is also excellent if you add mini chocolate chips or small fruit pieces to the mix just before baking. makes 12 servings. 75 calories, 0 grams of fat, 1 gram of fiber, 1 point

  10. I am a Nora Roberts fan too...you are right Birthright was great..someone gave me a copy of Montana Sky and from then on I was hooked..I got on Halfbay.com and bought all of her books for a couple of dollars each, just finished her latest High Noon..loved it, picked it up and read nonstop until I finished it..she can't write them fast enough for me to read , so I have now started on her dectective books written under JD Robb
  11. Cathy, ...Federal Way gave it away for me..I have heard Julie say she had a sister in Seattle..and since I lived near there for 4 1/2 years I knew Federal Way was near Seattle, so I figured it had to be her sister... I don't recall if she mentioned your name directly to me, but now that I think about it I believe she mentioned it while we were on an instant message one day...and by the way, don't believe anything she says about us!..you will have to meet us for yourself...OH BOY, another trip!...on second thought, she loves us!!, and we love her and can't wait to get to know you too...we heard the Tata story:bcb_grin If I hadn't guessed, Carla's post was a dead give away:bcb_up Norma/one of the Bama Gals
