  3. Here you go . . . Angel Biscuits Ingredients 1 cup self-rising flour 1/2 cup skim milk 2 Tblsp. reduced fat mayonaise Instructions Preheat oven to 400 deg. and spray muffin tin with non-stick cooking spray. Stir ingredients together and fill eight muffin cups. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. Thanks Tinka for reminding me about salmon patties. I loved them and forgot how good they were. I did not add the bread however, and just used egg beaters, onion, and mustard, baked in the oven until kind of a firm enough to turn and bake the other side. These were very good. I got three patties out of my can of salmon for three points. Delicious! Thanks again!
  5. CARLA, JUST WANTED YOU TO KNOW, I TRIED THIS RECIPE. I MADE THE 24 MINI MUFFINS LIKE YOU SUGGESTED AND THEY WERE VERY GOOD. MY KIDS LOVED THEM TOO AND AT 1/2 POINT EACH . . . HARD TO BEAT. EVERYBODY NEEDS TO GIVE THESE A TRY. TOOOOOOO EASY!!!! THANKS FOR SHARING!!
  6. 1 20 oz. can crushed pineapple in own juice 1 pkg. sugar free instant butterscotch pudding (dry) 2 small apples, cored and chopped (leave skin on for fiber) 1 8 oz. carton fat free Cool Whip Mix first 3 ingredients together until well blended. Fold in Cool Whip, serve chilled About 7 or 8 cup servings 2.5 points per cup I use this as a "cool" side salad dish with my meal and sometimes just as the dessert. It always receives rave reviews.
  7. I just wanted to say I have this on cooking and it smells wonderful. As for the points on this, I come up with 3.6 per cup according to the ingredients I used. I think that is what makes a difference on the points, depending on what brand and kind you use of the different ingredients. However, I did not drain the vegetables as there would be no way I would be able to get many servings out of this thus driving up the points on it. I added more stewed tomatos and fat free chicken broth to bring up the volume to 10 cups bringing the point value to 3.6 per cup. As long as it is good and filling .. . I don't care if it is 3, 4, or 5 points per cup. Will be well worth it either way. Thanks for sharing the recipe
  8. Just wanted to say I made this last night and it was a hit! I put just a dollop of cool whip on top while warm. . . . YUMMY! Thanks for sharing this recipe.
  9. Hi everybody, I'm glad they liked the Twinkie banana pudding pie. It really is a delicious dessert but with everybody looking to try the angel food cake, I thought I would post this one also. Yum Yum Cake In a 9x13 pan Break up a sugar free angel food cake (you can find these at Walmart in the bakery) Layer in order 1 20 oz can crushed pineapple in own juice 2 small reduced sugar free vanilla instant pudding mix (mix according to directions) 2 bananas small carton fat free cool whip 8 servings - 2 points. Warning: the bananas start to turn after the first couple of days, but around my house it usually doesn't last much longer than that. I also substitute strawberries for the bananas when they are in season.
  10. This sounds like something I would like to try also. Could somebody post the recipe? Thanks.

  12. Thanks for posting this Bill. Tried it tonight and was very good and cured my chocolate craving. My husband also loved it.
  13. debart . .. you also substitute water instead of using milk. I make these all the time, the blueberry I especially like and they really are one point a piece when substituting the water, applesauce, and egg substitute. Hope you like them as much as my family does.
  14. Thanks for posting these! They are delicious. They do remind me of the chocolate oatmeal cookies from my childhood, just with the added bonus of fiber and we all need that! And thanks to everybody out there for their comments on where to find the bran flakes and the name under which you could find them. It saved me a lot of time travel trying to locate what I needed. You guys are great! I love all the recipes I've tried so far. Keep 'em coming.
  15. Thanks for posting this. It was delicious! Will be enjoying this again for supper soon.
