  1. I did yesterday and it felt great. Work is super busy today, so I will have to walk when I get home. I will plan on doing some weights also.

  6. Hard to say much not knowing how much you have to lose. If you are losing inches, then clearly you are gaining muscle, so that weighs heavier than fat. So you may be losing fat, but gaining muscle, and the scale can not show you that. Plus... the exercise is good for you heart, cholesterol and your mind, so relax. And yes, eat some of your extra points - do not starve your muscles.
  7. Hi, My story for learning to "love" exercise is more about getting healthy, as opposed to losing weight. I lost my mom a few years ago to breast cancer. She also smoked very heavy, which really only complicated things. Watching her die, gave me a new lease on life. I decided that for the time I have left on earth, I would feel my best. This meant eating healthy, quitting smoking, going back to school and exercising my heart. Now it is 2 1/2 years later and I am smoke-free, lost 25 pounds, eat tons of fruit, veggies and drink a ton of water daily, 2 semesters away from my masters degree and... I work out power aerobics 3 x's week, power yoga and martial arts. I am 45 years old and I feel better than I have ever felt. So.... it is up to you and only YOU!   10. This sounds really good! The bisquick probably is very filling. Toss a salad together and the meal would be complete. Thanks for sharing. I am going to try this meal this week.

  14. Well tonight I sauted mushrooms, asparagus, purple onion and then fried bulgar (I use like rice) with 2 tsp. olive oil and it was yummy. I sprinkled cajun seasoning on with a bit of parm. cheese. It was a meal.
