  2. Thanks, everyone. I agree about wishing for a better SF cheese option. I'm not supposed to have cottage cheese because of the high sodium, and I hate fat-free/soy hard cheeses. Oh well, that's what points are for! (For low point cheese, I LOVE the reduced fat Jarlsberg sold at Trader Joe's. 50 calories per slice and doesn't taste it.)

  4. Do you have any idea why the leader told me there was no such thing as not counting points anymore?
  5. I rejoined WW today with a monthly pass (and am using etools for the first time.) I was under the impression form this board that I could still follow CORE, but it was now called the Simply Filling Technique. However, the leader told me that I *had* to track points because of the new momentum program. So, is there still an official option on WW to follow something like CORE? If so, how do I find support for that on etools? Thanks!
  6. I'm an old corebie who needs to go back on core. I have less than 10 pounds to lose, but have strayed from some of my healthy habits and have lost a lot of my discipline. I'd like to consider joining ww, and going to meetings, to get some IRL support. But from the changes, I'm wondering if I can go straight on to Core/Simply Filling if I'm following their program. Either way, I'm back. I chose to start today - sort of crazy because we have a x-mas party to go to - but I volunteered to bring raw veggies and home made white bean dip. So, Hi!   8. You can't just count points for the skin as the chicken has points, even without skin. Since the chicken itself is core/filling food, I thought it was a reasonable question to ask whether or not I could just count points for the skin. I can understand that you might not want to ever, ever, eat the skin, but I don't mind counting points for things that I really enjoy. I love the skin on grilled chicken! Since I don't eat red meat at all, and only eat poultry once a week or less, I'm don't think it's a big health risk for me.
  9. We grilled chicken last night, and I ate one piece with the skin. Can I just count points for the skin, and if so, how many would you count for one piece?
  10. I love the Ezekiel cereal with soy milk and some blackstrap molasses (less than I would need to count points for, and it packs a nutritional wallop.) However, it's very expensive! It's 5.99 at all our local markets. Are the Arrowhead Mills Amaranth Flakes still a filling food? They were core.

Made this last night: from the cookbook "Hip Kosher" 4 firm white fish fillets 1/2 c ff plain yogurt 2 T lemon juice 1 tsp minced ginger 1 large clove garlic, minced 1/2 tsp each - coriander, turmeric, cumin 1/4 tsp paprika 1/8 tsp cayenne pinch cinammon salt to taste Mix together yogurt and spices. marinate the fish in the yogurt for at least 30 minutes, longer if possible. bake at 450 until cooked through. serve w/lime wedges. this FISH is DELISH!
