  1. That sounds like something I would eat. the sauce is the olive oil and flour correct? Or some other type of sauce?
  2. I use a healthy oil on my popcorn and I just discovered these shakers(I found them in the popcorn aisle). They are not core but 0 points. I tried parmesan garlic by kernal seasons and I really like it. they have many different flavors. Just an idea.
  3. Nevemind, I now what he advice is going to be. Maybe Ijust need some motivation. I'm going through a hard time right now and just to know others are there great.
  4. So I am a social worker at a nursing/home/rehab. I am getting extremely stressed out between current resident's and new residents;. I am letting this get in the way of my lifestyle. Any solutions? I have been doing core off and on about a month. I have faith in this program, and myself, just have to stick with it.

  6. k y Thank you lisa. I saw pre-made whole Foods but didn't buy it because I was buying bulk cornmeal to try it. Looks like I need to make a drive to buy it though. Thank you everyone else for your help. I am learning that Core foods are not a replacement. Some are growing on me, others I will use my AP's and flex for the real thing. I will def. be trying the potato chips though, they sound great. One question though is can I use Pam instead of Olive oil mister?, I don't have one of those.
  7. Thanks for your advice. I tried again last night and it still didn't work. I did 1/2 c. cornmeal to 2 c. water. Poured it on a baking sheet and put it in the fridge over night, woke up this morning and tried to fry it, but it was mush. all I did was burn myself. Argh!!!!!!!!! So I will give it another shot this weekend. I really lik the idea of the potato chips. If I hadn't have already had hashbrowns today I would try it tonight. Thanks.
  8. Can someone please help me. I've been searching the recipe forum trying to find a recipe using the homemade polenta( I can't seem to find the rolled polenta) then cutting into crisps. I just can't find the recipe. I have tried in the past and it did not turn out right. I am desperately trying to find something my "crunch" urge. Thanks for your responses.
  9. I bought some SF hard candies to day and I'm going to try Linda's ideas. I'm not much of a mild drinker but that sounds like a great idea too.
  10. So are Old fashioned oats for granola the same as oatmeal for baked oatmeal. I'm going to the store here soon and I guess I'll just try it as all the same. If it doesn't work, it doesn't work. Thanks for your help Sodacracker.
  11. Can someone tell me the difference between old fashioned oats, quick oats, and oat bran? are these all oatmeal,like instant oatmeal ? I'm so sorry I'm new to Core and don't cook a lot. thanks for your help.

  14. I need some help from fellow buddies. I've only been on core for a week, and will be going out for my first time on Saturday morning with some friends for breakfast with friends to The Original Pancake House. I'm kinda picky and doing like eggs. I do have 29 flex left and plan on working out that day. I was thinking hashbrowns, canadian bacon, and maybe some fresh fruit. Or do you think it would be unwise to order something like 1/2 order of bacon pancakes with SF syrup and just count the points? Just looking for some advice on my first outing.
  15. So I can find the recipe for baked oatmeal but can someone tell me how much cocoa to put into it to make it baked chocolate oatmeal? TIA
