I'm not sure how to do it or get to others that are following but I do know one gal that is in my current forum that is doing low carb/simply filling. Love the one im in but am not getting the motivation I need there I liike to post my meal plans, then actual meals, share recipes and chat during the day and help motivate others as well. I'm doing Core/simply filling.

May I suggest a General TRIED n TRUE recipe site for the entire forum. I started one a couple of years in the buddy system group back but always have to go searching for it.   14. This is where we'll post our goals and our daily updates for our BCB 10 week challenge. COPIED FROM KATY'S ORIGINAL POST There are 10 weeks (unless I have counted wrong) between now and the 4th of July. This first week will be setting our goals and making our plans. Everyone's overall goals can be individual - you know what you need to work on most. Just make sure it is a measurable and attainable goal. And there will be a group goal. There will be winners in each of the following categories: Most days completely On Program (modified to meet your individual needs) Most consecutive days completely On Program Most days exercised Most consecutive days exercised There will be mini challenges each week - you can volunteer for any week you want. If you aren't going to be around for a week (or more) you should still be able to participate in the overall challenge (there is always SOME sort of exercise you can do, and we all should be OP every day). Now, for the group goal. Over 10 weeks I believe we should be able to lose 50 pounds together. I will donate 50 pounds of food to my local food bank if the group meets that goal. I'll get a tax deduction, the food bank will benefit, and we all will be much lighter. So, make sure I get your weight loss each week to add to the tally. So, for this week, decide if you are in or out. Week 1 challenge is to set your goals and make your plans. Counting for days OP and exercise will begin today. Let's do it.
  15. I am making a pork roast for supper with cubed butternut squash and apple slices. I thawed out a can of apple juice and am going to inject it into the roast. Should be yummy! I'm sending you and email.
  16. Been a little crazy this afternoon. Am trying to get desk cleaned off, and calls made that I’ve been putting off.   I got a letter saying that my rental house was up for disconnect; so when Nick’s SIL came by Saturday to pay the (rest) of rent for the month, she said no, that she had made payment arrangements and all was ok.   Well I called to make sure and she bold faced sat her and lied to my face! They said she has not called in to make arrangements and needed to do so by Friday or will be disconnected. I only make charge her $400 a month for rent; her son and his gf lives there so it’s not like there isn’t 3 adults that are able to work! I don’t make crap after I pay insurance and taxes but let the rent stay so low bc she’s family and they fell on hard times when they lost their house due to unpaid taxes. I give and give and give and still get crapped on. I will not let the electric get shut off bc it happened a few years ago w/o my knowledge and many pipes froze. I don’t want to evict them either. Am at my wits end with them.   Ok onto better things………….   Tanya, I found out that golf isn’t for me either. Never quite understood what was so fun about it but to each their own! I’d rather be at the clubhouse socializing!! Lol   Katy, see you’re already calling FL home! Won’t be long and you won’t have to deal with the cold.   17. Afternoon girls; didn't sleep well last night and came down to let the dogs out at 6 and then fell back to sleep 'finally' about 7 and didn't wake till 11:00. Just when I think my hours are getting back to normal; then I do this! Just booked another show for Embroid and Scentsy for 4th of July weekend. This town is really into racing so will be adding that them to embroidery stuff. I'm going to go catch up.
  18. We dropped the blazer off to the collision repair place then were driven over to Enterpise for a rental car. Then when got back home, my nephew stopped by to get his gf's scentsy order. She ordered more scent bars. So I sent home with him the new scents and he says; should I just leave another $20 with you now!?! LOL:bcb_yuck: I'm trying to recruit her to start selling Scentsy; she knows alot of people! a lot more than me and is stay at home mom. Be a great way for her to add a few hundered bucks to her spending money every month. Here's Hg's Eggroll Swap. I was thinking I could make it w/o putting in the wrapper and would be a new version of the inside out eggroll recipe. HG's Shrimpylicious Egg Rolls Honor RollThese may be called Shrimpylicious, but they're anything BUT "shrimpy" -- they're large and in charge! Pair 'em with our So Low Mein w/ Chicken or our guilt-free moo shu, and you've got a full-on feast from the East. Fortune cookies not included. Ingredients: 6 large square egg roll wrappers (found in the refrigerated section of the supermarket with the other Asian items) 4 cups (about half of a 12-oz. bag) dry coleslaw mix One 6-oz. can (4 oz. drained) tiny shrimp, drained 1/2 cup canned water chestnuts, drained and sliced into strips 1/4 cup bean sprouts, chopped 2 scallions, chopped 1 stalk celery, thinly sliced widthwise 2 tbsp. light or low-sodium soy sauce 1 tsp. crushed garlic 1/4 tsp. ground ginger 1/8 tsp. salt dash pepper Optional: sweet & sour sauce, for dipping Directions: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place slaw mix in a microwave-safe bowl with 2 tbsp. of water, cover, and microwave for 2 minutes. Drain any excess water, and transfer slaw mix to a large bowl. Add all other ingredients except for the wrappers, mix well, and set aside. (For more intense flavor, allow mixture to marinate in the fridge for 20 minutes.) Prepare a large baking sheet by spraying it lightly with nonstick spray. Place two egg roll wrappers on a clean, dry surface. Evenly distribute about 1/2 cup of the mixture onto each wrapper, in a row a little below the center. Moisten all four edges of each wrapper by dabbing your fingers in water and going over the edges smoothly. Fold the sides of each wrapper about 3/4-inch towards the middle, to keep the mixture from falling out of the sides. Then, roll the bottom of each wrapper up around the mixture, and continue rolling until you reach the top. Seal the outside edge with another dab of water. Carefully transfer egg rolls to the baking sheet. Repeat process twice with remaining wrappers and filling, making sure you have a clean, dry surface each time. Spray the tops of the egg rolls with nonstick spray. Bake in the oven for 25 - 30 minutes, until golden brown. Allow to cool slightly. If you like, dip egg rolls in some sweet & sour sauce! Now that I have the new catalogs, I'll start sending out New warmer and Scent of the month fliers and will be including samples of the actual scents so everyone can actually smell them first hand.   21. Oh my goodness, was so excited about other news that I forgot that I also made 3 contacts last night. One is on the board of directors at a very big nursing home and she wants me to do a Scentsy fundraiser for them. The second heads up a 80+ booth craft show at a highschool here and this year they are adding retailers, so she wants me for my machine embroidery plus machine embroidery. That will be in October. And the 3rd is a gal that makes wedding dresses and also refurbishes leather like the seats in boats, etc. I asked her if she did embroidery on the dresses and she's had requests, but hasn't been able to do it, plus she just got done refurbishing a boat and the guy wanted his initials on the seats and she wasn't able to do it. So now when she has jobs like that, they will come to me!! So definately things are picking up for me this year and word of mouth will really help!

Sandy, let me know what you and your friends thought of their Scentsy warmers and scents I picked out for you. Glad Freddy is so on board with you and is "finally" being supportive. He came through!!! And give Joey a couple days for it to settle in. If I ever get down to your neck of the woods I want to meet him; he sounds and looks like he's a blast! Katy, been trying to get a buddy meet up going a few times now . I know I am definately coming down that way probably in September to see you and Karen and go to Jacksonville to see Nick's friends and I'm going to pay my x-mil a visit and see if she comes thru with letting me have my grandmas china. doubt it, but will try. All in all, it should be a 2 week trip. I'm not going to book any shows in September and will keep the whole month open so if any other buddies can come down too, will plan around that. This will be a blast; we just have to do it! I can't wait to meet you and SC! Way to go Lisa, make that boss' son earn his keep! Hope D recovers quickly.
