  1. I like to make my own oatmeal too. I always cook my oatmeal with milk and I usually add raisins and cinnamon. I never thought of apples. Yuim, that sounds good. Thanks for sharing.
  2. Hi Everyone, I am not sure why these aren't more popular in the United States because they are yummy and a great option instead of bread. I grew up eating these because my parents are Dutch, and I have not had them to often since. Recently I found them at Safeway and realized what a great find they were. They are like pieces of toast only a little bit smaller. You can have 2 pieces for 1 point. They are great with things like eggs, tuna, cheese, and jam.   3. Wow, that was interesting. I can't believe I was only 4 years old when the first man stepped on the moon. I remember it so well. Probably because I was in a unique situation because the breaks of the U-Haul truck we were driving failed and we were at a gas station waiting for another U-Haul truck to be delivered to us.     It took several times of cheating, but I eventually got 0.07 seconds. It said "Brilliant. You must be Superman!" When I actually waited until I saw the color change my fastest was .35. Marianne

    Bump, since we just past St. Patrick's Day again, and I was wondering what to do with the rest of my cabbage. Maybe I am not the only one. Marianne
  9. In regard to your PMS binges, I found that I was having them too. It was not that I actually craved anything (even though I do crave bread during that time), it was more result of emotional eating. Little things set me off then instead of being a witch I would turn to eating. I talked to my doctor about my really bad PMS behaviors and he advised me to take Vitamin B6 200 mg. He said that if it does not help to stop taking it. However, I have found that it helps tremendously. I am much more calm during PMS week (my dh may not think so though :eek: ) and as a result I am not so tempted to binge on food on an emotional level. It's weird but when I consistently take the B6 I am totally OP. When I don't take it I am on and off program. Maybe this is something that can help you. Check with your doctor. Marianne
