  1. I found this recipe on Recipezaar and wanted to share it. I love recipes that do not have a ton of ingredients, because I hate to grocery shop! This one fits the bill and tastes great! Easy Pork Chops / 3.75 pts per chop 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper 1/4 tsp paprika 1/4 tsp sage 1/4 tsp thyme 4 bonless pork loin chops Pam 1 onion, sliced thin 1. Mix the dry ingredients and sprinkle on both sides of the pork chops. 2. Brown chops in Pam.* 3. Place each of the chops on a piece of heavy foil. 4. Layer each chop with onion slices. 5. Seal pouches tightly. 6. Place on baking sheet. 7. Bake at 425 for 30 mins. * I replaced the oil called for in the original recipe with Pam and seared the pork chops on a relatively hot skillet for 3-4 mins on each side. One other thing I wanted to note is that I thought the pork chops could have been a tad bit more tender, so the next time I make them and there will definitely be a next time, I think I will try a 375 oven for like 40 mins. I might also try throwing the onions in the skillet for a quick stir before topping the chops, I'll let you know how that works out!
  2. I found this recipe on Recipezaar and wanted to share it. I know one of the hardest things for me on this plan is finding low point meals that taste good, no I mean they have to taste GOOD. This one does. I hope you enjoy it as much as my family did. Bacon-Wrapped Rosemary Chicken/4.6pts per serving. 35 min/5 min prep Serves 6 2 1/2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts salt fresh ground pepper 1 1/2 teaspoons dried rosemary 1 package of precooked Hormel bacon* 1. Heat the oven to 425. 2. Cut chicken breasts into 4-6 oz. pieces. 3. Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper. 4. Place 2-3 slices of bacon on top of each piece of chicken. 5. Sprinkle with rosemary. 6. Roast for 15 minutes at 425. 7. Recuce heat to 375 and cook an additional 5 minutes. 8. Turn the oven to broil and watch it like a hawk.* * changes from the original recipe.
