  1. hi there! i just wanted to say that i havent been on bcb since feb 2009, and i thought to come back and the first thing i see is your wonderful message from oct 2008. you really are an inspiration! today is my 19204812094120th day one.. but i think this time, i really want to keep this going. thank you for everything.

  2. yes i'm gonna do 13 miles....i can run 6 right now...so hopefully when all this training is over i'll be up to 13miles!!! i am doing a couple 5k's this month, and next month. I'm gonna start biking tomorrow!!!! I bought one of those bike child carriers that you pull behind your bike for henry so i'm hoping the weather will be nice so we can go on a bike ride!!! That will definitely get me shape...biking is one the best exercises to do!!! Well have a great night!!! Jennifer

HAHA you said no binging this weekend lol! ... well it's weekend now and i'm not only studying and doing the homework i always do on weekends but i'm studying for a test AND learning a song to rehearse..... omg.... i've been munching on baked mushrooms (sliced) and they're good! But i got up at 4:45 am this morning to put my test study notes together and didn't finish til nearly 10 am, and that's not even studying the notes.. just puttn them together! now i must actually study... and i did just break out the tuna salad. oh my.

     

    Tell me bout your race! are you gonna really go 13 mi's?? I want to do an 8k on memorial day... i can't even run a mile (well I can if i walk half of it)...... so a half marathon, well i haven't done one of those in like, 4 years.... sigh... good luck lemme know how it goes!

  4. LOL my bad...posting on my own to you how in the heck are you ever gonna read it, lol...well today is great its finally super nice out...I saw your loss big congrats that's awesome!!! I'm so stuck plateauing so i'm gonna change up my exercising a bit and lower my points my one point hoping that will work...the town i live in is doing a 5k run/walk on May 2nd so henry and i are gonna do that and then in october des moines, iowa about a 3 hour drive from where i live is doing a marathon so i'm training right now for that...i'm gonna do the half marathon 13 miles...so we'll see how that goes. I"m so glad it friday and even better its 6pm and now i'm getting off work gonna go walking with the hubby and with henry. Well have a great night and a good weekend....NO binging!!! take care...   6. I had an OP day friday, but closed the kitchen and lost weight anyway! Ha! Saturday, today> I plan on a POP day! Yayness!

  8. ME TOO! Same thing!! I was op mon, tues, wed. i did have an oops or two, but I got over them, so not a pop, but a reALLY good op!! yay!
  9. Thank you--Just what I needed to hear!! I am so inspired by you and your changes, taking care of yourself, scheduling in the "toning" etc. .... I did over an hour of the hatha yoga dvd I have called "dance the chakras".. it was wonderful!! And long.. and revitalizing and... I want to do that again! lol

  10. you're welcome! yes, if your legs/knees can take it, it has been the best result-giver (lol) for me. when I started, I just took it very slow, did the walk/run thing, and built myself up. I feel so good on my run days. yesterday I did a longer run and I felt so good afterward, like I had really earned something for myself. Don't think I'll be running today though, have toning class tonight. The exercise is the answer for me. GO FOR IT! but just take it slow :)))

  11. Oh, that is so inspiring! That just confirms it for me. I have to get back into running. I can hardly even walk it seems, that's how out of shape I am, but I ran a couple times recently and I felt like an entirely different person that day. lol Thank you for the exercise tip. You have been diligent for years!!

  13. What a lovely thread! There's just "something" about it, I can't put my finger on it, but I had to post and say hello. I haven't gone to bed yet (it's horribly late), so it's "kind of" end-of-day, for me. I am about to get a bit of shut-eye, and then I'm excited about an OP day. Nay, a POP day! Hello, all you kind parishioners! p.s. Does anyone know an appropriate place on the site where we can start a journal for ourselves? You know, where members post to their own journal to chronicle their own progress? (and other members visit each other's journals and make coments)? Thank you!
