  1. you guys are totally missing out on a treat if you just use this for chips and dip--I use this and the cheddar one as toppings for steamed veggies and as a casserole sauce--it is completely awesome and only one point for 3 TBS

    Tofu pasta

I made a great tuna noodle casserole with these--using the hungry girlfreddo sauce-- Also excellent with a crumbled boca burger, extra veggies and some marinara and finally--a bag of microwaved veggies and some Tostitos queso! yum!

    Free Meal??

See--and I was so excited when i opened this thread, cause I thought Free Meal meant recipes that used only 0 pt items!!! Duh.
  4. A couple of years ago there was this awesome long thread called the "Points Grinch" thread that listed everyone's favorite lowest point combos--(like 1-3 points)--I think Carol or Char may have started it--I would love to print it out again--anyone know where it is??? Anyone have new Points Grinch combos to share???? TIA
  5. I like these--Hungry girl sez after rinsing, microwave one minute and drain again (they "weep") and then pat dry with a paper towel--this seems to help--I made some today with spaghetti sauce with sauteed onions, peppers, zucchini and 1/2 cup boca italian crumbles--huge dish for 2 pts--I also like the hungry girl recipe for "alfredo" with laughing cow and parmesan

    Tofu pasta

I like it--softer and blander than regular noodles, but as a conveyance for sauce--good! rinse it REALLY well before you cook it--I used the HG recipe for fettucine alfredo and it is a great 78 calorie recipe--I am looking forward to some other ways of prepariing it--
  7. not a recipe--but just to let you know that Whole Foods has a jarred Core marinara sauce--it is called 365 ff/sf spaghetti sauce--nothing but core ingredients
  8. CORE--Butterscotch Pumpkin Oatmeal I've been making pumpkin chocolate oatmeal forever--thismorning I was inspired to add pudding mix instead of cocoa--This is delicious--and has a good shot of protein from the eggbeaters so it sustains you thru the morning: 1/2 C oatmeal (I use TJ's mixed grains) 1/2 C water 1/2 C pureed pumpkin 1/2 C eggbeaters 2 T ff/sf butterscotch pudding cinnamon to taste Microwave 3 minutes, stopping to stir a time or two YUM--you could do this with apples or bananas instead of pumpkin, or chocolate pudding instead of butterscotch--the pudding gives it a nice consistency and flavor __________________ Ouis

  10. mmmmmmmmmmm, what a great and filling soup that was--delicious lunch--delicata squash soup, polenta square, and a peach! yummers-- I have long been a delicata fan--lovely to have something new to add to the repetoire--thanks Carol:buddysmoo xoxoxo' Ouis
  11. Ouisue. . . running fast to the kitchen where the delicata squash and chicken broth in the pantry are calling loudly. . .
  12. Joanne--I'm guessing you zap it in the morning to get it hot? Or do you eat this cold?
  13. also a little crystal light can sparkle it up--I love pineapple orange--
  14. LUNCH--at the office or home! canned chicken or salmon w/ bulgar & oat groat pilaf, ff cheese canned chken w/ ff mayo and pickles--or bagOsalad / can of tuna and hardboiled egg & vinaigrette 1/2 cup bulgar & 1/2 cup ff refritos, salsa and corn this is good!--1 cup WW pasta w/ one boca burger crumbled into it w/ FF cheddar and 1 Tbs queso (0 Pts)--kinda a cheeseburger casserole I am into hominy--60 cals & 6 g fiber per half cup and corefree--mixed w/ some bulgar or brown rice and FF cheddar--a fiberfest! that great Boarshead buffalo style chicken is core--and 3 Bran-a-crisp crackers are 0 pts--so pile the chicken and mustard on the crackers! I made some "yochee" by draining ff yogurt--stirred some chipotle tabasco into it and used the spread on the crackers topped by chicken-- a new addiction! Last night I made tuna casserole and saved leftovers for lunch!--WW noodles, tuna, peas, onions, mushrooms, and some mushroom/onion dry soup mix stirred into some FF sour cream--yowzers! I also just adore ff yogurt with some pistachio ff/sf pudding mix stirred in w/ some cut up peaches and pineapple--snack, lunch, dessert--you call it! I tried it with banana pudding too and it was to die for more later:bcbsalute
