  2. I made the Campbell's One Dish Chicken and Rice and you guys, it was fabulous! I switched the white rice for brown though. I'm not sure if/how that affected the points. I want to try it again with cream of chicken soup.

  4. Ladies! My first ever quilt is finished. All I have to do is take it to a Laudromat and run it through a washer to fuzz out the edges! I will post pics when finished. I do believe I will try the rail fence pattern next. Weee Haaaa!
  5. Just bought mine at Wal-Mart. I can't wait to start. It says that it has 6 workouts. How many do you do at one go? Just one and build up to the others?
  6. Hi again! The beginners class that I can sign up for is not until March. However, the very nice women at the local quilt shop are 'walking' me through a simple rag edge quilt. Supposedly very easy and very cute. I'm so excited. I have all of the squares for the front, back and the batting layer of flannel all cut. Now to start the sewing!
  7. I purchased discounted Christmas fabric today to begin my first quilt. I am so excited! Does anyone else here quilt?
  8. I am beginning a Body for Life program to go along with my running training. Loose skin scares me to death. I don't want to be all floppy when I lose the weight and I know that weight training is about the only way possible to avoid loose skin. Is anyone else using this program for a basis for weight training?
  9. Hi, everyone! I am a beginning runner and am starting a program tonight to train for the "Triple Crown of Running" here in Louisville. Right now I can complete about 1 mile on a treadmill. I am determined to do this! The triple crown consists of: A 5k on March 11 A 10K on March 25 and A 10 miler on April 15. Then, with the Derby Festival kicking in in May, there is a Mini-marathon. I will let you know the details of the training program when I find out tonight. I know that it starts for a beginner as several small runs during the week and a long run on Saturday or Sunday. The running store has group runs organized for the long weekend runs. I can't wait! Dawn
